Trends come and trends go. That’s a fact. But one trend that I’m really excited about has come back around just in time for spring – Tie Dye.
I don’t know about you but I’ve been seeing tie dye pop up everywhere – from Maurices to Torrid to Old Navy to Target to Walmart. And the tie dye clothing just keeps on coming. Some of you (like myself) embrace the tie dye trend with both arms open wide, while some of you might be on the fence because you’re not sure how to wear this trend.
That’s where I come in. I’m going to show you 3 super easy ways to wear the Tie Dye trend.
Choose a Third Piece – Cardigan
If the thought of wearing splotches of tie dye frightens you then ease into this trend by finding a tie dye third piece – such as a jacket, vest, or cardigan. I picked up this pink and white tie dye cardigan from one of my favorite stores, Maurices, and I’m absolutely obsessed. The cardigan is really lightweight so it’s ideal for spring and it’s something easy you can throw on to bring some tie dye flare to a graphic tee and jeans.

Pick an Accessory
You don’t have to commit to wearing a tie dye piece of clothing. You can rock this trend by finding some tie dye accessories like earrings, scarves, or headbands. I got this pink and blue tie dye headband from Maurices too and I love it because it lets me rock a little tie dye without taking away from a casual outfit.

Grab a Shirt or Sweatshirt
If you’re not afraid to commit to this trend then go for a tie dye shirt or sweatshirt. This sweatshirt also came from Maurices. It’s very soft and comfortable and can add some flare to an otherwise casual outfit. My advice would be wear a tie dye top with a solid color bottom (or a tie dye bottom and solid top).
