Thanksgiving is next week and that means good food, good time with family and friends, and a good time to wear a cute outfit. If you’re not sure what to wear to the festivities – look no further. I’ve put together 6 easy outfits you can wear this Thanksgiving Day.
Each one is super comfortable, curvy-friendly, and perfect for every occasion. If that’s something you’re interested in just keep scrolling.
Grab a graphic tee, a plaid shirt, and your favorite pair of jeans and you’ve got the perfect outfit for a casual Thanksgiving lunch. Etsy is full of Fall/Thanksgiving graphic tees at a good price and Old Navy has currently become plaid city – but you can also find them on Amazon.
A Fall-inspired skirt is always a good pick. This skirt is from Modcloth and if the turkey doesn’t get you in the Thanksgiving mood the leaf pattern will. Pair it with a neutral sweater and some comfy booties and you’re good to go.
Never underestimate a themed sweater. Usually, I save my fair isle sweaters for Christmas but I saw this one and couldn’t help myself. The little squirrels were too cute. Pair a cute sweater with some jeans and you’re ready for a fun Thanksgiving dinner with friends.
If you’re meeting your significant other’s parents this Thanksgiving my advice is to wear a dress. No, you don’t have to, but a dress always makes a good impression. This dress actually sold out but any A-line dress will do. Wear it with your favorite pair of boots, put on your best smile, and be yourself. You can’t go wrong.
Walmart has really stepped up their fashion game recently. They have all kinds of dresses – like the one I’m wearing in these pictures – that you can wear for Thanksgiving dinner, church, or a date night. And the best part – they’re really comfortable and totally affordable.
One Thanksgiving tradition Denis and I do every year is go to the movies Thanksgiving night. It’s the perfect time to do this because most people are Black Friday shopping so you might end up with the whole theater to yourself. One time we went to dinner after the movie – so you could say we had a late Thanksgiving feast. Throw on a warm-toned floral blouse, your favorite jacket, some jeans, and a scarf and enjoy a late night dinner.
What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving? Do you have a favorite dish? Let me know in the comments. We’re going to have Thanksgiving dinner at our church this year and I can’t wait. I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving and keep an eye out for my Holiday Gift Guide coming soon.
Verse of the Day: This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24
You’ve done it again. The outfits are perfect. Love them all. You look amazing.
