Read Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
Season 3 is about Penelope and Colin and what better way to get the most out of their love story than by reading the book behind this season. I read this book earlier this spring and fell absolutely in love with their story. Penelope finally got to shed her wallflower image and Colin finally realized that true love was right under his nose the whole time. No, this book (and this show) is not for children (it is rather steamy) but I feel like I understand the characters of Bridgerton a little better now that I’ve read a book from the Bridgerton series.

Taste the Bridgerton Tea Collection from Republic of Tea
There’s nothing more Bridgerton than enjoying a delicious cup of tea, especially if that cup is from the newly released Bridgerton Collection from the Republic of Tea. Founded in 1992, Republic of Tea is one of the best tea companies on the market. With over 350 premium, gluten-free flavors to choose from, there is something for every tea lover. I picked up the Colin & Penelope Ginger Peach Vanilla Tea, the Eloise Lemon Mint Black Tea, and the little travel trio.
Wear a Bridgerton-Inspired Dress or Outfit
Bridgerton is known for its beautiful and elaborate fashions – I mean, the fashion is one of the major reasons I watch the show – so one of the easiest ways to get yourself ready to watch season 3 is by wearing a Bridgerton-inspired dress or outfit. This means anything empire-waisted, floral, colorful, and makes you feel like you’ve stepped out of a Jane Austen novel.
Rewatch Seasons 1 and 2 & Queen Charlotte
Another essential way to get you ready to watch season 3 is by rewatching seasons 1 and 2 and the Queen Charlotte series on Netflix. Now I must warn you – if you’re not interested in spice do not watch the first season. I’d start with season 2 – it’s less spice and more story driven, which I honestly prefer. As for Queen Charlotte, I absolutely adore the love story between Charlotte and George . . . sometimes more than the original series. While you don’t necessarily have to watch Queen Charlotte to stay with the plot, I highly recommend it because you learn so much more about the queen, Lady Danbury, and Lady Violet Bridgerton.
Shop the Bridgerton x Bath & Body Works Collection
If you want to bring a little piece of Bridgerton into your bath routine I highly recommend stopping by your local Bath & Body Works (or browsing online if you live outside of the United States) to check out their new Bridgerton collaboration. They offer an assortment of Bridgerton-themed products that range from body care to hand sanitizer to candles to Wallflowers and plug-ins. And while I like all of the scents, my absolute favorite is Diamond of the Season. Flawless, dear, simply flawless!
Learn about the Behind-the-Scenes of the Series
The last thing you can do to get yourself ready for season 3 is to learn a little bit about the show. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been fascinated with behind-the-scenes content when it comes to movies and series. Just seeing all of the people who make up the production of a single episode will open your eyes to the fact that television is not just for entertainment – it’s an expression of creativity and art.
