I’m a very big fan of a Youtuber named Raw Beauty Kristi and I absolutely love the LA-based cosmetic brand Colourpop. So you can imagine my excitement when these two collaborated on a makeup collection back in November of 2020 (the year that shall not be named).
I was completely pumped and actually turned out to be one of the lucky few who was able to purchase some of the collection on November 12th before it sold out. Day after day I would eagerly check the mail, hoping that it would come in early. Finally, the day arrived and I was able to see the gorgeous products Kristi and Colourpop created together and all I could think was – this is a work of art.
For those of you who don’t know, Kristi lives in the Pacific Northwest part of the United States and she said in her Youtube video here that her home surroundings is what inspired her to choose the colors and design of the packaging for the entire collection. Not only is the packaging super cute with all the mushrooms, the products inside work beautifully together, allowing you to create awesome, one-of-a-kind looks that look complicated but really aren’t.

Creme Gel Liners – $7.00 & Lux Lip Gloss – $9.00
Colourpop offers some of the best creme gel liners on the market because they’re very pigmented and they stay on your waterline all day. Plus they come in a bunch of different colors. But the three creme gel liners Kristi designed – Thyme, Woodsy, & Marigold – are some of my favorites. They’re really creamy and glide onto your eyes seamlessly.
Kristi’s collection has two Lux Lip Glosses – a pinky nude called Wildflower & an icy ivory named Glacier – but I only picked up Glacier. I love it because the formula is lightweight and nourishing but never sticky. It does have tiny specks of glitter in it but you can’t feel them after the gloss is applied.
Super Shock Shadows – $7.00
The Colourpop Super Shock Shadow bouncy formula cannot be beat and these four shades were perfect additions to the Super Shock collection. Each of them add the perfect amount of sparkle to your eye look and I found that they work best when used as eyeshadow toppers. The collection has four shades:
- Mycellium (my favorite) – pale gold with silver and gold pinpoints
- Olympic – ivory with silver pinpoints
- Like A Moss – metallic golden olive
- Campfire – metallic orange with silver and gold pinpoints
If you’re looking for a sparkly eyeshadow topper that’s not full of chunky glitter and stays put throughout the day definitely check these shadows out.
At Forest Sight Eyeshadow Palette – $20.00
This is by far my favorite piece of the whole collection – partly because I’m an eyeshadow junkie and partly because of how good the Colourpop eyeshadow formula is – but mostly because the color story inspires me to create rich eye looks perfect for when I’m feeling creative. This 12 pan palette offers rich mattes that pack a lot of pigment and soft metallics that make your eyes shine. And even though these colors give me total fall vibes, I feel that this palette can be used year round because there’s never a bad time to represent the Pacific Northwest.
