Stranger Things x Colourpop Collection Review

Hello friends! Today I have a very exciting post for you because today I’m reviewing the Stranger Things x Colourpop Collection that was recently released. Like many people, I remember watching the first season of Stranger Things on Netflix and became completely obsessed. The characters, the setting, the mystery, the 80s – everything about the town of Hawkins caught my attention. So you can imagine how excited I was when I saw that Colourpop was doing a collab with the show. The entire collection can be found on the Colourpop website and Ulta.

The Stranger Things x Colourpop Collection consists of six beauty products. I got all of them except for the Hawkins Milk Liquid Lite Glow Drops – I’ve never been a big fan of liquid highlighters. As for the other six – I was pleased at how well everything worked and by how much detail went into the packaging. You can tell that Colourpop really put a lot of care into the design of this collection, so let’s take a deeper look, shall we?

Talk to Me Ultra Glossy Lip Kit – $28

This Ultra Glossy Lip kit comes with three nourishing lip glosses that are formulated with jojoba oil for maximum moisture. Infused with sparkling multichrome flakes, these hi-shine glosses will give your pout an extra little punch. Wear over bare lips or your favorite lipstick.

The Monster Chrome Liquid Shadow Kit – $20

If you’re a fan of duochrome shadows, this next product is for you. These multi-chrome shadows are formulated with ultra-reflective pearls that catch the light with just one swipe. What I really like about these products is that they’re virtually mess-free. Once you apply the liquid shadow where you want it, it doesn’t budge or fade until you take it off. Results!

Byers Cream Blush – $14

Out of all of the products in this collection, this one is probably the coolest because it changes color based on your skin’s pH levels. This lightweight cream blush looks black in the pan but leaves a soft pink color on your cheeks. Infused with Cupuaçu Butter & Shea Butter, this blush is not only moisturizing but nourishing on the skin, leaving you with a natural-looking flush.

Waffle Lip Mask – $12

We couldn’t talk about Stranger Things without mentioning Eleven’s love of waffles. I love how Colourpop took that detail and applied it to this awesome lip mask. Colourpop seriously has some of the best lip masks on the market and this one is no exception. Infused with nourishing ingredients like Squalane, Vitamin E, and Shea Butter, this lip mask will leave your lips hydrated, smooth, and ultra soft.

Chapter One Eyeshadow Palette – $26

This 16 pan eyeshadow palette consists of smooth mattes, luscious shimmers, and pearlescent glitters. According to the Colourpop site, the top half of the palette is supposed to represent Hawkins while the bottom half represents the Upside Down. Each of the shades are very pigmented and blendable, making this palette very user friendly. Create soft neutral looks or dark, smokey eyes with just one palette.
