As the holidays roll in, there’s one tradition that I look forward to every year: visiting my favorite Christmas tree farm in Grant, Louisiana. It’s become a cherished ritual that marks the beginning of my family’s holiday celebrations. The aroma of fresh pine and the festive atmosphere make it an experience that’s hard to beat. This year’s visit was no exception, and I thought I’d share a glimpse of what makes this place so special.

Nestled just outside of the small community of Grant, the Christmas tree farm is a picturesque setting. The farm is sprawling with rows upon rows of perfectly manicured trees. Each one seems to call out, “Pick me!” The smell of pine fills the crisp winter air, and there’s something so comforting about stepping into this winter wonderland. It’s a magical place for everyone in the family. You can find local vendors selling their wares as well as take a hayride around the farm. And don’t worry about the kids getting bored because there are plenty of kid-friendly things for them to do and play on.
You’ll also find a cozy little country store stocked full of Christmas ornaments, homemade syrups and jellies, and local merchandise. Do some last minute holiday shopping and find something truly one-of-a-kind or enjoy a cup of delicious hot cocoa as you browse all the farm has to offer.
