A Face Full of Fresh Skincare: My Winter Skincare Routine

A Face Full of Fresh Skincare: My Winter Skincare Routine

So let’s talk about skincare – or more specifically my Winter skincare routine. As the seasons change so do some of the skincare products that I use. I find myself reaching for more and more products from Fresh skincare because my oily/combination skin works well with them, especially when the weather transitions from hot to cold. Honestly, I use their soy cleanser year round but I’ve discovered a few other Fresh gems that I just have to share.

So without further ado, let’s jump into my current Winter skincare routine.

I’m going to go in the order that I use these products so let’s begin with the Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash. You really don’t have to start with an exfoliating face wash but I use it at least once a week to scrub away any dry patches and excess oil that can build up in colder weather. This facial scrub is one of my favorites because it’s formulated with white sugar crystals that quickly dissolve when it gets wet and the crystals are gentle so they never irritate my skin. It’s also formulated with Strawberry and Black Currant Fruit Extracts and grape seed oil to help lock in hydration.

This next cleanser is one of my absolute favorites – the Fresh Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash (and you can read my in-depth review here). What I love most about this gel cleanser is how gentle it is for all skin types. It breaks down the most stubborn eyeliner and mascara but it doesn’t burn or irritate your eyes. It also has a soft cucumber smell that I always find soothing. You can buy this cleanser in three options – mini size, standard size, and value size.

After my skin is all cleansed I apply the Fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner with my hands. It contains Rose Fruit Extract, Rosewater, Angelica Leaf Extract, and real floating rose petals to hydrate and retain moisture. Plus it’s alcohol-free so I never have to worry about it stripping my face.

I got the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum this past Christmas and I have been enjoying it ever since. It’s an oil-infused liquid serum that keeps your skin dewy and plump with moisture. It has all kinds of good ingredients such as plant-derived squalane, rose water, and damask rose that help to calm and soothe skin. Just give a few shakes before you use it to combine the oil and liquid and you’re good to go.

Once I’ve completed all these steps I apply the Fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer to lock in the good ingredients I’ve put on my face. This moisturizer was also a Christmas gift and one I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time. It’s a bit thicker than the gel moisturizers I usually reach for but I find that a thicker moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated longer in the crisp, Winter wind.

What does your current Winter skincare routine consist of? Is there a certain product that you can’t live without? Let me know in the comments.

I have the same skin type as yours, and it is very challenging to choose what products to use for oily/combination skin. I want to have a proper skincare routine that will help me deal with my skin concern. So I was looking for skincare routine tips to solve my problem and came across your blog; the products you recommended seem worth trying out.
Thank you for sharing your views on these products. It was quite helpful. I am looking forward to read more such blogs in the future.
