As the holiday season approaches, there’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh-baked cookies filling the house. Each December I like to set aside a Saturday to do some Christmas baking. I always make some old standby recipes like sugar cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and chocolate chip cookies, but I also try to incorporate at least one new recipe. This year, I decided my new cookie recipe would be Hot Cocoa Cookies. I found the recipe on Pinterest by a blogger named Christi (Love From the Oven) and decided to give it a try. You can see her original recipe here: https://www.lovefromtheoven.com/hot-chocolate-cookies/#wprm-recipe-container-35870
