Hydrating Skincare Routine for Oily/Combo Skin

Hello friends! Today’s post is going to be a skincare routine that has yet to fail me – my hydrating skincare routine for oily/combination skin. If you’re like me and you have oily/combination skin, then you know the struggle our skin goes through in the warmer temps of late spring and summer. Sometimes your skin just looks and feels . . . thirsty.

If you’ve been experiencing thirsty and dehydrated skin, it can be for a number of reasons such as you’ve not been drinking enough water or you’ve been using products that are more stripping than healing. But regardless of the reason, hydrating your skin is not a difficult thing to do. The six products I’m going to spotlight in today’s post are all soothing, nourishing, and hydrating, and what’s even better they all work well together.

Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser

Let’s start with cleansing. This low pH cleanser is soft yet strong enough to wash away your most stubborn makeup and sunscreen. With its bouncy, gel texture, it lifts away impurities gently, leaving your face feeling clean and refreshed.

Peach Slices Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner

Nothing hydrates your skin more than a toner and this particular toner is one of the best when it comes to hydration. Made with 95% snail mucin and cica, this fast-absorbing toner is silky smooth and works to clear pores and calm redness, all while strengthening your skin barrier and leaving your face glowing and healthy.

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum

One of the best ways to target a skin concern is by incorporating a serum into your skincare routine. This glassy smooth serum is formulated with a variety of skin-nourishing ingredients such as peach extract, niacinamide, East Asian mountain yam, madecassoside, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The cocktail of ingredients work together to help hydrate, calm, firm, and brighten your skin, leaving your face smooth as glass.

Goodlight Order of the Eclipse Hyaluronic Cream

Once you’ve applied all of the hydrating products listed above the best way to lock in the moisture is by using a moisturizer. This moisturizer from Goodlight is a bit of a new product to me, but so far I can tell that it works well. Formulated with vegan squalane, Meshima Mushroom, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin, this cream protects and strengthens your skin barrier by restoring your skin’s appearance. I really like how fast it absorbs into the skin, leaving your face feeling soft and protected.

Tocobo Vita Glazed Lip Mask

To keep your lips hydrated I recommend investing in a lip mask. The Tocobo Vita Glazed Lip Mask contains moisture-rich ingredients like Vitamin E, olive oil, and pomegranate flower extract to soothe dead skin cells on dry lips. Thankfully, it’s not sticky and melts into your lips within a matter of seconds. And what’s even more impressive – it comes with a little spatula to help you access the product easily.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen

The last product on this list is one of my absolute favorite sunscreens. Not only does this chemical sunscreen contain SPF 40, it feels like a makeup primer and doesn’t leave a white cast. Its velvety smooth texture gives your skin a weightless shield of protection and what makes it even better is that it wears well underneath makeup, making it my go-to choice on a daily basis. I’d heard people brag about this sunscreen for years and was a little skeptical, but after now that I’ve tried it I can honestly say that I understand the hype.
