Let’s Talk About Versed Skincare

I’ve been using Versed skincare for a few months now and I can honestly say that they have quickly become one of my favorite skincare brands (high-end and drugstore, alike). Versed consider themselves to be the “cleanest drugstore skincare brand” on the market and with their clean formulas and climate neutral certification, I have to agree with them. Their motto is pure and simple: “Make Good Skin and Clean Products for All.” I think that’s a motto we all can support.

Versed skincare is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free with no silicones, no artificial fragrance or colors – for a full list of ingredients and toxins that they don’t include visit their site here. They’re packaging is also completely recyclable and you can find them online as well as in Target – which makes them the perfect brand to try on your next Target-run.

So now that you know the facts, let’s get in my thoughts on a few of my favorite Versed products.

Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm

The cleansing balm is not only one of my favorite Versed products – it’s one of my favorite cleansing balms in general. It’s formulated with soothing ingredients such as Vitamin E, jojoba oil, eucalyptus oil, clove leaf oil, and avocado oil. It’s strong enough to melt away even the most stubborn of makeup and waterproof-mascara but gentle enough that it doesn’t irritate your eyes.

Versed Wash It Out Gel Cleanser

Next in my favorites is the gel cleanser. This cleanser is very unique in that it contains rosewater, apple amino acids, ceramides, and seaweed extract – all very calming and hydrating ingredients. And what makes it even more special is that it leaves your skin with a gentle, cooling sensation. I find myself reaching for this on mornings when I need a little extra waking up.

Versed Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Toner

A really good toner can be hard to find at the drugstore, but Versed has managed to create a lightweight, brightening toner that not only helps even out your complexion but also fade any dark spots or post-acne marks you may have. It’s formulated with 3% glycolic acid, 0.5% azelaic acid, 2% lactic acid, 0.6% Vitamin C, 0.3% kojic acid, and 0.8% bearberry extract. Even though it’s jam-packed with AHAs, it’s still gentle enough to use daily and not agitate your skin.

Versed Microcrystal Exfoliating Cleanser

If you ever find your skin needing a little extra TLC, an exfoliating cleanser can be just what you need. This exfoliating cleanser is formulated with tiny, microcrystalline microbeads that dissolve quickly with water and gently buff away dead skin cells and impurities, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. It has antioxidant-rich ingredients such as raspberry leaf extract, jojoba oil, and black currant leaf extract. Once it makes contact with water it transforms into a smooth cream that hydrates the skin.

Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream

I have oily/combo skin so a good gel moisturizer is a necessity. Fortunately, I found the Versed gel moisturizer on one of my trips to Target and fell in love with it. It has a bouncy, jelly-like texture that glides onto the skin like a dream and absorbs quickly. Because it’s so lightweight you never have to worry about it clogging your pores or feeling heavy on your skin and it’s full of gentle and hydrating ingredients like green tea leaf extract, aloe leaf juice, and sodium hyaluronate. This is the perfect moisturizer for Spring and Summer.

Versed Silk Slip Conditioning Lip Oil

Have you ever applied a lip balm and then realize ten minutes later that it’s disappeared and your lips are dry again? Well, with the Versed lip oil you never have to worry about that happening. This lip oil is made with Vitamin E, which is rich with antioxidants, jojoba oil, camellia oil, sesame oil, and sunflower seed oil. It also leaves your lips with a healthy sheen that locks in moisture for several hours. This is a must for me in the Winter.
