I have always wanted to go to a pumpkin patch, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I learned that there was a patch just a few miles from my house.
Anderson Farms opened their pumpkin patch in 2005 and they’ve been offering Fall-fun activities ever since. It’s the perfect place to bring your kids because they can paint a pumpkin, see some live animals, or go on a hayride. It’s also a really good place if you just want to walk around, take some pictures, and buy a pumpkin.
General admission is only $3.00 but prices vary for the hayride and pumpkins. They’re located at 400 Slagle Rd, Leesville, LA 71446 and they’re open Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sundays from 2 PM to 6 PM from October 9th to October 31st.
If you find yourself in the Central Louisiana area and you want to get in the Autumn spirit definitely check out Anderson Farms Pumpkin Patch.
Verse of the Day: He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. – Ecclesiastes 3:11
